Lily laughing while feeding the dogs
So Chris had to work tonight, so it was just me, Lily, and the dogs. Lily discovered how funny it can be to feed the dogs her dinner. This went on until she ran out of food.

Time Change, Teething, No Sleep Baby Rant
I miss the days when I used to be able to predict Lily's naps. Two naps a day, one mid morning, one mid afternoon. It felt good to know your daughter well enough to see her sleep signs and then put her to sleep. Those days are gone. I have no idea when she is going to sleep and why in the world she is not sleeping when she seems tired. Its like being a first time mom can feel like babysitting for the first time (What am I supposed to do with this baby?)
Two things going against me is the dreaded time change and her molers that are coming in (which ones or when is TBD). When she is awake she is a clingy, loud, funny, clingy, energetic, clingy toddler. The past few days she as averaged a 1 1/2 hour nap...total....one nap...for the day. That means that there are a lot of hours in the day where she is a walking baby zombie.
The worst part is when she is fed, clean diaper, tired, and time for a nap..I put her down for her nap. She is quiet for about 10 min and I think "Yea, she is a normal baby again". I put my ear to the door just to make sure and I hear it, the pacifier being thrown across the room, the giggle, and then the shouting. Then its the continuous motherly instinct second guessing..."was she really tired?", "should I let her wear herself out?", "should I play with her some more?".....and so on.

Lily and I went with Chris on the boat to check it out. We fished and had a fun day. Lily did not like the fish as much as dad did!
